What makes really good bakeware for your home?

Good bakeware does not need to fill a whole cupboard, it just needs to do its job bake after bake. Four things make the difference:

  • Coating: A double ceramic reinforced non-stick coating, free of PFOA, lets cakes and breads release without a fight.
  • Material: Aluminized steel helps your bakes brown evenly from the edge to the centre.
  • Details: Thoughtful extras like a cut-resistant enamel base or a coating inside and out make everyday baking easier.
  • Shape: A few classic cake tins cover a huge range of recipes, no drawer full of odd shapes needed.

All our pans share the same coating and aluminized steel, from a simple apple cake to a festive centrepiece.

The three pan families in our bakeware

Every shape has its own talent, and together they make a small but mighty baking team:

  • Springform Pans: with a removable ring for cheesecakes, cream cakes and everything you cannot turn upside down.
  • Ring Cake Pans: tall and fluted with a tube in the middle, for rich batters and festive ring cakes.
  • Loaf Pans: long and rectangular, for banana bread, pound cake and yeast breads you slice on the board.

Start with the shape you bake most, and let the others join your kitchen one by one.

Which of our cake pans suits you best?

Our bakeware focuses on three classic shapes, so every pan has a clear job:

  • Springform Pan 26 cm: with a cut-resistant enamel base and a stainless steel clamp, for €49.90.
  • Ring Cake Pan 22 cm: about 11.7 cm high with our logo embossed on the tube, for €39.90.
  • Loaf Pan 30 cm: coated inside and out and suitable for bread, for €34.90.
  • Baking Set: all three pans together for €99.90, saving you 20 % on the single prices.

Can't decide? The set gets you ready for cheesecake, ring cake and bread alike.

Which cake tin should you buy first?

It depends on what you love to bake. If cheesecakes and cream cakes are your thing, a round pan with a removable ring is the most versatile start that also handles fruity bakes like a rhubarb strawberry cheesecake. Do you dream of tall, fluffy cakes with pretty ridges? Then a ring cake pan and a poppy seed cake are a perfect match. And if your heart beats for breakfast treats, a loaf pan gives you everything from coconut banana bread to fresh yeast loaves. Chances are, you will want all three sooner or later.

How to choose the right size for your baking tins

Size matters, because the same batter bakes flatter in a larger pan and taller in a smaller one. Here is what we offer today:

  • Round: 26 cm today, with a 24 cm springform and further sizes coming soon.
  • Ring: 22 cm across and about 11.7 cm high, a popular size for family cakes.
  • Loaf: 30 cm today, with a 25 cm loaf pan coming soon for smaller loaves.

If your recipe names a different size, adjust the baking time and check your bake a few minutes early.

Bakeware care and the brand behind it

All our bakeware loves the same simple routine: wash it by hand with warm water and a soft sponge, and dry it well before you put it away. The dishwasher is tempting, but its detergent dulls the ceramic coating over time, and that coating is what makes your bakes release.

Food with Style is the home of a baking community of 3 million followers. Our recipe blog has recipes for every pan in our range, from cheesecakes to a nutty honey nut cake. Pick your favourite shape and bake along with us.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Bakeware is the umbrella term for the pans and tins you bake in, such as springform pans, ring cake pans and loaf pans. Good bakeware releases cakes cleanly and helps them brown evenly.
A round pan with a removable ring, a fluted ring cake pan and a loaf pan cover a wide range of recipes, from cheesecake and marble cake to banana bread and yeast loaves.
None, really. In the US people say cake pan or baking pan, while in Britain it is a cake tin or baking tin. Both mean the same kind of bakeware.
Yes. All our bakeware has a double ceramic reinforced non-stick coating that is PFOA-free. Treat it kindly with wooden or silicone tools and avoid sharp metal utensils on the surface.
We recommend washing all our pans by hand with warm water and a soft sponge. Dishwasher detergent is aggressive and dulls the ceramic coating over time, and that coating is what helps your bakes release.
All our pans are made of aluminized steel with a double ceramic reinforced non-stick coating. The springform also has a black enamel base and a clamp made of 304 stainless steel.
Many cakes release without it, but a thin layer of butter never hurts. For sticky batters and detailed ring cake pans, butter and a dusting of flour are always a good idea.
The Baking Set contains our springform pan 26 cm, ring cake pan 22 cm and loaf pan 30 cm. It costs €99.90, which saves you 20 % compared to buying each pan separately.
