Ingredients
Directions
-
1
Unroll the puff pastry and cut into 8 evenly sized triangles (as for croissants).

-
2
Place a few banana slices on the lower third of each triangle and sprinkle about 1 tsp of chocolate flakes on top.

-
3
Fold the bottom tip over the filling and seal well. Cut 3-4 slits into the remaining top part of the dough.

-
4
Roll up each piece to form a crescent shape and place on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

-
5
Brush with beaten egg yolk and sprinkle with chopped nuts.

-
6
Bake in a preheated oven at 190 °C / 375 °F (top/bottom heat) for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.

-
7
Let cool completely. Melt the chocolate, transfer to a piping bag, and drizzle over the crescents. Once set, dust lightly with powdered sugar. Let them cool - and enjoy a perfect balance of fruity and chocolatey goodness in every bite.
