Directions
-
1
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.

-
2
In a mixing bowl, combine lukewarm milk, yeast, and sugar. Mix them well together.

-
3
Let the mixture rest for 5 minutes.

-
4
Then add salt, egg white, and sunflower oil, and mix everything together. Finally, gradually add the flour and knead until you have a soft dough.

-
5
Cover the dough and let it rise for at least 40 minutes in a warm place.

-
6
Form 9 small balls from the risen dough, about 50 g each.

-
7
Slightly flatten the balls, spread 1 teaspoon hazelnut cream on them, and seal them back up. Then roll them into balls.

-
8
Using a rolling pin or your palm, flatten the sealed side, and make cuts on half of the balls, shaping them into crescents.

-
9
Place the crescents on a baking sheet and let them rise, covered with a cloth, for 10 minutes.

-
10
Mix a tablespoon of milk with an egg yolk and brush the crescents with it. Sprinkle them with chopped hazelnuts without pressing them down.

-
11
Bake them in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 20 minutes or until they turn golden brown.

-
12
After removing the crescents from the oven, cover them with a cloth.
-
13
Finally, you can sprinkle them with powdered sugar.
