1
Preheat your oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Grease the cake pan with butter or use parchment paper for easy removal of the cake.

-
2
In a bowl, cream the soft butter and sugar together.

-
3
Add the eggs one at a time, stirring well after each egg.

-
4
In a separate bowl, mix flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and a pinch of salt.

-
5
Add the dry ingredients alternately with the milk to the butter-sugar mixture, starting and ending with the dry ingredients. Stir well until a smooth batter forms.

-
6
Add yogurt, vanilla extract, and chocolate chips or flakes, then stir again.

-
7
Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan.

-
8
Bake the cake for about 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.

-
9
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.

-
10
For the chocolate ganache: Heat the cream in a small saucepan until it’s almost boiling. Pour the hot cream over the chopped chocolate and stir until the chocolate is melted. Add the butter and stir until the ganache is smooth and shiny.

-
11
Let the ganache cool slightly, then pour it evenly over the cooled cake.

-
12
Let the ganache cool and set completely before cutting the cake into pieces.
-
13
Now, you can decorate the cake with chocolate flakes and ground pistachios.
