Ingredients
- 200 g tahini (sesame paste)
- 150 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 120 ml milk
- 120 ml vegetable oil (e.g., sunflower oil)
- 200 g all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- A pinch of salt

- Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 20 cm round cake pan.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs and sugar until well combined.
- Add the tahini and mix thoroughly.
- Slowly pour in the milk and vegetable oil into the mixture, continuing to stir until well incorporated.
- Sift the flour and baking powder into the bowl, add the vanilla extract and a pinch of salt. Stir everything together until a smooth batter forms.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the surface with a spoon or spatula.
- Bake the cake in the preheated oven for about 35 - 40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for about 10 minutes before carefully removing it from the pan and transferring it to a wire rack to cool completely.
