Ingredients
- 250 g all-purpose flour
- 30 g sugar
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 tsp instant yeast
- 110 ml lukewarm milk
- 40 g soft butter
- 1 egg (size M)
- 150 g quark or unsalted cream cheese
- 30 g sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 100 g fresh blueberries
- 1 egg yolk
- Powdered sugar
Directions
- Mix flour, yeast, 1 tsp sugar, and 2–3 tbsp milk in a well. Let it sit for 10–15 minutes until frothy.
- Add the remaining milk, sugar, salt, butter, and egg. Knead until smooth. Let it rise for 1 hour.
- Divide dough into 10 portions (about 50 g each), roll into squares.
- For Filling
- Fill each square with 1 tbsp quark mixture and blueberries. Fold corners to seal and add a blueberry in the center.
- Place on a parchment-lined baking sheet, rest 20 minutes.
- Brush with egg yolk, bake at 180 °C (350 °F) for 15–20 minutes.
- Cool slightly, cover to keep soft, then dust with powdered sugar.
