This delightful Plum Cake recipe invites you to experience the perfect harmony of flavors. The yeast dough, prepared by blending all-purpose flour, dry yeast, sugar, and a pinch of salt, yields a soft and airy foundation. Enhanced with the subtle sweetness of warm milk, a hint of vanilla extract, and the richness of butter, this dough becomes the canvas for showcasing the star ingredient: plums. The plums, sliced and meticulously arranged atop the dough, offer a burst of vibrant fruity flavor. As the cake bakes, the dough turns a golden brown, while the plums soften, creating a delightful contrast in texture and taste. To complete this masterpiece, a sprinkle of powdered sugar or a brush of maple syrup adds a finishing touch. Enjoy a slice of this Plum Cake with a comforting cup of tea or coffee, savoring each bite of this fruity, slightly tangy indulgence.
